So I've had this pen for awhile now & it's taken my awhile to get
the hang of it.. I've gotten a little bit better but still not AS
skilled yet. I bought extra filament so I could have something else to
practice with since I knew I would go through the 3 spools that came
with this pretty quickly and I did. I've only been able to make flat
designs & stuff because I haven't been able to master the art of
"building" the filament string. The best I've been able to make is a 3D
"pop art" type peace sign. It was actually pretty cool looking & was
layered up. My dogs decided it was a new toy before I could get a
picture of it & demolished it within in seconds. (the one pictured isn't my best one.. it was my first one I made but I made a much better one that looked pretty amazing)
If you're thinking about getting a 3D pen don't expect to master this thing within the first use. These are NOT as easy as they look. I've seen so many people making super awesome things & I figured it was actually easy, just needed the money to get a pen. Boy was I wrong. I need to watch more videos and practice a whole lot more.
