I can honestly say I didn't get these for their
possible "intended" purpose. LOL. When I showed a few of my friends
these they told me that I don't snowboard, ski, or four wheel or
anything so why would I even need something like these?
I've always wanted something like this or similar. I've always lived in areas that have bad winters & it gets REALLY cold. I hate wrapped a scarf around my face because then I cant breath & then my hair gets tangled & knotted (my hair is near my bum). So with these I can just pull it down around my neck & pull my hair out of them so my hair doesn't get tangled. These keep my neck totally warm just like a scarf without all the extra bulk & then I pull up the "skull" part over my face & it keeps 98% of my face completely warm. It's also made of a super breathable material so you don't feel like you're going to suffocate or anything. I wore one outside when it was about 3 degrees with a real feel of -15 degrees and my face didn't feel like it was going to freeze off. Highly impressed.
