Okay.. When I first got this mug I was initially very confused. I opened
up my box & there was there weird little cardboard tube that had
some weird little city scene on it. Then I opened that up & my mug
was inside of that. I have to say.. I absolutely LOVE this thing!!! I
actually use thing EVERY single day! I have a very bad habit of making a
cup of coffee sometimes & getting distracted doing something and
then my coffee will get cold & be wasted. So now when I go make a
"cup" of coffee, I just pour it into this mug & give it a couple
good shakes to get everything mixed (gotta have my sugar & creamer)
& everything stays hot for several hours so I know I wont be wasting
that "cup" of coffee.
I've had coffee stay hot for at least 8hrs (that was how long I had it until I finished it). I also had some ice water KEEP it's ice for at least 5hrs (I finished my water & dumped my ice for more coffee, lol). I haven't fully tested out the times for everything because I mainly just use this for coffee, but it will keep things hot for at least the length of a normal work day, so that's a perk.
It's got a stainless steel inside so it's super easy to clean & doesn't hold any smells. I forgot to dump out my coffee one night & it got a little hot & the creamer in there curdled. Needless to say it was rank when I opened it. After rinsing it out a few times, my mug didn't stink at all. It's also definitely LEAKPROOF as long as you have the lid on PROPERLY. I can't even count how many times I knock this over or how many times my dogs do.
