I've got 4 dogs that need brushed and groomed. 3 of them I cheat with during the summer and shave them down so I don't have to deal with it (and so they don't have a heat stroke).. The 4th dog has thin "hair" (it reminds me of human hair more than dog fur) so she doesn't get shaved. The one that doesn't get shaved is a shih-tzu/mini-daschund with semi long hair. Out of the 3 that get shaved 1 is a Maltese and 2 are a shih-tzu/mini-daschund/Maltese mix (yup, they're their kids). Those 3 are boys and have THICK fur. My Maltese has the curly Maltese fur that is a pain to brush and one of his sons takes after him and also has the thick curly Maltese fur.. The other one has the super long shih-tzu fur on a mini-daschund body.

Now that I've described my dogs, let me talk about just how awesome this brush is. This brush is AMAZING!!!! So much so Im actually looking forward to when my boys get their winter coats so I can brush them. I have never had something go through their fur so smoothly and them actually LET me do it and then COME BACK FOR MORE!! My dogs got shaved a few weeks ago so there wasn't much to get and I didn't get anything off my one male dog who just recently got a buzzcut, so piles of fur are as follows: black pile is the shih-tzu/mini-daschund/Maltese that has shih-tzu fur and mini-daschund body, middle pile is my female and last pile is my Maltese.
