I use this mixed with some lemon essential oil in a diffuser in my kitchen as an air freshener. It helps keep my kitchen smelling "clean" and does so without using any harmful chemicals and also without agitating my allergies. Grapefruit essential oil is handy for the kitchen as it has many other uses. You can use it to clean wooden surfaces, countertops, & floors. It fights mold growth. It also preserves food & disinfects water. I always make sure I keep a bottle in my kitchen at all times.
