This belt is great for traveling, yes, but it's also great for going to a theme park, bicycling, walking, shopping, etc. It's great for those times when you know you're going to be out doing things for most or all of the day & don't want to be lugging around a purse or a wallet. This isn't bulky & you can even hide it under your shirt when you're wearing it. It can hold your cash, credit cards, keys & even your cell phone in this without being overly heavy or "lunky". It's also sweat proof so you don't have to worry about ruining anything inside it.
