I love baking, grilling & cooking but am accident prone.. Like, seriously accident prone. I have burnt myself so many times while cooking. I've even taken a chunk out of my thumb using a vegetable slicer. I've got really small hands (I'm an adult and wear kid sized gloves) so the majority of oven mitts don't fit me which makes things really awkward. When I saw these I knew I had to try them out just for the fact they were actually GLOVES and would have a better fit. For once I was able to reach into the oven without having to worry about burning myself & I couldn't feel the heat through the gloves either. The sleeve of these does go up a bit far which is a good AND bad at the same time.. I *have* burnt my wrist several times on the oven door because the oven mitts weren't long enough, but these go almost to my elbow because of how short my arms are. Guess now I'm extra extra protected.
