So I first want to say that I absolutely LOVE these brushes, way more
than the other one I got & both of these (even tho they're supposed
to be the same) went through the same test that the other one I have
did.
I have really long AND extremely THICK hair. My hair is almost 4-5in away from my bum. Being half Italian gives me that massively THICK uncontrollable hair. I've had numerous combs and hair brushes die in my hair throughout my life. I use a bottle of detangler every week, sometimes more than that depending upon if I have things going on or not & am planning on actually doing something fancy to my hair. Most times I just brush it out & leave it be because it's too much hassle to do anything else with.
I waited until the next morning to give this a proper test when I could use it in my nice 'ol "bed head". Surprisingly I didn't have much trouble. This brush is made of a harder plastic and the bristles don't give when you're brushing like my other brush I have. Since the bristles are a different length, your hair doesn't tangle when you're pulling it through.
The next test this brush got was after my shower while my hair was still damp. I don't blow dry my hair because it dries it out and makes it look and feel like straw, but it absolutely HAS to be brushed after I get a shower or else it'll turn into a rats nest. Since my other brush actually worked, I decided not to bother with sectioning out my hair & just having at it. This went through my hair as if it was dry. I was extremely surprised at how easily this went through my hair and the fact it didn't pull or tug or anything.
What I also loved about these brushes was that there was 2. I totally overlooked the fact that you were getting 2 in the box. I'm just really in love with these brushes & am glad I found something that worked with my hair.
