No, this is NOT for the BRAND NEW 6S phone because this case was out BEFORE the iPhone 6S was even being sold in stores. I've noticed many phone cases online used 6s to distinguish between the 6+ so people didn't get confused. Now onto my actual review.
This is a mint/gold case. It's a 2 piece case which I think all cases should be made all like this. It's got a soft microfiber lining inside the case to protect it from scratches when you're sliding your phone in and out of the case. You slide your phone into the mint part of the case & then slide the gold piece onto the bottom until it clicks into place. This doesn't add any extra bulk onto your phone and doesn't hinder your use of any of the buttons or ports. It's got a really nice feel to it and looks great too.
