This case is beautiful with an amazing feeling. Yes, this case is just a HARD SHELL BACK COVER & nothing more. The one I got was the "Yellow eye wolf pattern" & I really love the colors on it.. The fact it glows in the dark was an epic bonus (AND IT REALLY GLOWS!!).
This case snaps on in a matter of seconds & has a "soft" feeling to it. It doesn't add any extra bulk to your phone which is a bonus for ANY phone case. It doesn't hinder your use of any of the buttons. No, it doesn't offer the protection of the $50++ cases obviously, but you're crazy if you think it would.
