This comedone extractor kit is actually quite nice. It's stainless steel & a few of the tools have some textured handles so you can keep a grip on them while using them because you definitely do NOT want them to slip while you're using them on your face. These come in a nice leather pouch with a mirror & comes with instructions/description of each tool.
These tools are great for getting out those annoying blackheads. I seem to get ones that pop up in the very corner of my nose (where my nose meets my cheek) and you cant really squeeze or press that area with your fingers or anything (yeah, you're not supposed to use your fingers). With these, I was able to easily get the evil blackheads out within minutes & there was actually more hiding in there than I thought (blech!).
Before I even do anything to my face, I exfoliate my face & then use some steam to make sure my pores open more. I also keep a paper towel that has rubbing alcohol on it nearby so I can clean my tool(s) as I'm using them. After I'm done I use a good face cleaner to clean off any excess gunk I may have left on my face and I soak my tools in rubbing alcohol for 5-10mins.
