I was having a blast with this when I got it. As soon as I took it out of the box & turned it on, I was weighing everything within reach! You didn't need to calibrate this or or put in batteries or do anything to this. Well, you do need to pull the plastic tab off of it, but that's normal for most things that require batteries. You sit it down on a flat surface, turn it on & start weighing things!
This scale is really thin & really light. I got the black one & it's very sleek looking. I don't mind leaving this sit out in my kitchen because of how gorgeous this is. It's got a blue LED screen that you can easily read. This is super easy to clean so you don't have to worry about getting this messy or anything. This also turns itself off after 1 minute of inactivity to save your battery life.
