I got this because I have 4 dogs, but 1 is the main instigator. I tested this out to make sure it wasn't strong enough to do any real damage. She's a 10lb miniature daschund/shih-tzu.
When she first barks it lets out a beep as a "correction" to try to get her to stop. If she doesn't stop, it lets out a small jolt. Sometimes the beep works but most of the time it takes the jolt for it to get her to stop because she's a damn stubborn dog. She doesn't seem to be barking AS much as she used to be which is great since it means the other 3 aren't barking as often either.
